Terms of Service

By accessing or using HomesDeck (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including household owners, members, and guests.

HomesDeck is a household management platform that allows users to create and manage households, track tasks, bills, assets, groceries, calendar events, and shared secrets. The Service is offered under multiple subscription tiers as described on our Pricing page.

You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be at least 13 years of age (or 18 in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (“Family Plus” and “Family Pro”). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan.
• Provide valid payment information. We use Stripe (international) and Razorpay (India) for secure payment processing.
• Allow automatic renewal of your subscription at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Accept that refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload or store malicious software, illegal content, or content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or any form of unsolicited communications.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Data stored in the Vault feature is encrypted using AES-256-GCM. While we implement industry-standard security measures, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information you store.

Household Owners have full control over household data and members. By creating a household, you accept responsibility for managing member access appropriately. Owners can add, remove, or change the roles of members. We are not responsible for actions taken by household members you have invited.

The Service, including all software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by Krys Con Projects Pvt. Ltd. (operating as HomesDeck) and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create or upload (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days of a valid deletion request, subject to our legal retention obligations.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KRYS CON PROJECTS PVT. LTD. (OPERATING AS HOMESDECK) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
